Feruwala murder case cracked, 3 held

The accused have been identified as Sumit, Rajat and Vishal, alias Ricky, all residents of Feruwala village.
The accused were produced before a court yesterday, which remanded them in two-day police custody. Vyaspur SHO Kuldeep Singh said
Shubham, a resident of Feruwala village, had lodged a complaint that his cousin Manoj Kumar received a call and left home on Friday night, but he didn’t return.
He said the next day, Manoj’s scooter was found near the bus stop of Ramkheri village.
He added that a shopkeeper, whose shop was situated close to the bus stop, told them that Manoj had a fight with Ricky, Rajat and Sumit.
He claimed that the accused and Manoj first consumed alcohol and later entered into a quarrel. He said the accused killed Manoj by hitting him with a stick on his head.
“The accused were produced in the court, which remanded them in police custody,” the SHO said.
Chamkaur Singh, a police spokesperson said, Superintendent of Police Kamaldeep Goyal had given strict instructions to crack down on criminals.
