The bridge connecting Sector 4, Panchkula, on both sides near Government School under the very nose of the Municipal Corporation is the filthiest and the dirtiest place. Garbage strewn, ‘malba’ dumped and discarded electric wires/ items thrown near the bridge greet morning walkers, students and even the MC staff. Interestingly, the garbage is dumped outside the park. Will the authority concerned take cognizance of this sorry state of sanitation prevailing over there and take remedial measures immediately?

Hisar residents being supplied dirty water

Residents of Patel Nagar in Hisar have been getting contaminated water supply for the past many months. Despite complaints, officials of the Public Health Department are not taking cognizance of the problem which is affecting not only residents in Patel Nagar but adjoining localities. I request the Deputy Commissioner to direct the officials concerned to install a new pipeline for water supply as defects in the old pipeline are resulting in contamination of water being supplied in the households and exposing the residents to diseases. Yograj Sharma, Hisar
