Faridabad, June 26

A 25-year-old youth, who was detected as the first case of the Delta Plus variant of Covid mutant in the district, has recovered and none of his family members has been found infected, though samples of all his kin have been collected again as a precautionary measure.

Revealing that the youth hailed from the Ballabgarh area and was working with a private company in Delhi, Civil Surgeon Dr Randeep Singh Poonia said he had been found Covid-positive on April 30 after he travelled to and attended a function in New Delhi.
