5 inmates held with phones

Five inmates lodged at the Central Jail here were held with five mobile phones. According to information, the Central Jail Deputy Superintendent Vishal Chhibber had reported to the local police that the five mobile phones were recovered from the inmates. The arrested accused were remanded to 14-day judicial custody. TNS

The police have arrested a proclaimed offender Neeraj Kumar of Kurukshetra who was wanted in a criminal case registered against him at Ambala City police station. He was produced before a local court, which ordered to release him on bail. TNS

The police have arrested Naresh Kumar of Naraingarh near here with counterfeit currency notes amounting to Rs 4,500. The arrested accused was sent to two-day police remand by a local court. TNS
