The district police have arrested four youths and seized five illegal pistols and 25 bullets from their possession. A case has been registered.

The CIA-2 wing in-charge, sub-inspector Satish Kumar, said a team of CIA staff was patrolling near the IMT area when they received information that four youths carrying illegal weapons were going from Baliyana to Kheri Sadh on a motorcycle.

“A naka was laid, and the motorcycle-borne youths were stopped on suspicion. On checking, five illegal pistols were seized from their possession,” he stated.

The arrested youths have been identified as Sunder, Sharan alias Rana, Aman alias Billa of Khidwali, and Pradeep alias Bobby of Ghadawadi village.
