Furlough over, dera chief returns to Rohtak jail
Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda chief and rape and murder convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim returned to Sunaria jail in Rohtak district on Thursday after the completion of the 21-day furlough granted to him.
He stayed at the dera ashram in Sirsa during the entire furlough period this time.
It was for the 13th time that the dera chief was released from the jail. He returned to the jail under tight security this evening.
He is undergoing 20-year imprisonment in connection with the rape of two of his disciples. He has also been convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of journalist Ram Chander Chhatrapati.
