Emergency services were informed and fire tenders were rushed to the spot to bring the flames under control.

Janardan, owner of Sri Krishna Furniture, said, “A short circuit is suspected to be the reason behind the fire. There were woods, foam, sheets, tools and other prepared goods in the workshop. We were running the workshop in a rented building. We have suffered a loss of around Rs 80-90 lakh. The building has also developed cracks due to the fire.”
