Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has launched a fierce attack on the BJP government in Haryana, citing corruption, inflation, and the Agniveer scheme as major concerns. Gehlot, accompanied by Rajya Sabha MPs Pramod Tiwari and Manoj Jha, addressed a poll meeting in Rewari, urging people to support Congress candidate Chiranjeev Rao in the assembly election.

Gehlot emphasised that Chiranjeev’s victory would facilitate Rewari’s development, as he would likely hold a significant position in the Congress government. He praised Rahul Gandhi’s efforts to promote the welfare of Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and highlighted the Congress party’s seven guarantees, which would greatly benefit the state’s people.

Manoj Jha criticised BJP’s inadequate solution to poverty, providing only 5 kg of ration to those below the poverty line. Pramod Tiwari condemned the BJP government’s treatment of farmers, wrestler daughters, and soldiers, urging voters to take revenge by supporting the Congress.

Swaraj India leader Yogendra Yadav accused BJP of promoting politics of loot, lies, and division. Chiranjeev Rao expressed gratitude to the people of Rewari for their past support and promised to address all grievances and ensure Rewari’s overall development.
