Expressing his admiration after viewing the diverse galleries of Dharohar, Ghosh said that he was deeply moved by the exhibition showcasing Haryana’s vibrant culture and enduring folk traditions.

“Dharohar beautifully reflects the roots of our cultural identity. It is both impressive and emotionally enriching,” he remarked.

The Governor stopped at several exhibits to learn in detail about the artefacts on display. He noted that “Haryana’s history is alive here in its full dignity. This museum not only preserves culture but also serves as a powerful medium to connect the youth with their land and values.”

Ghosh emphasised that institutions like Dharohar played a crucial role in safeguarding the identity of a state. The representations of traditional crafts, folk beliefs and rural life, he said, are both impactful and educational. He also appreciated the university’s efforts to equip the museum with modern technology and research-based conservation methods.

On his arrival at Kurukshetra University, Vice-Chancellor Prof Som Nath Sachdeva briefed him on the university’s academic achievements, research initiatives, national and international collaborations, and cultural endeavours.
