Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Sachin Gupta has imposed Section 163 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita in the district in view of the Governor's visit to Rohtak from October 25 to 27.

"It has been intimated by the Superintendent of Police that there have been reports from intelligence agencies regarding the threat of terrorist/Naxal incidents taking place at various places during the visit of Governor of Haryana. Therefore, in view of security reasons, a direction needs to be issued to cyber cafes, PGs, guest houses, hotels, offices and house-owners to keep record of all visitors/tenants in a register and also keep the photocopies of their identity proofs as a record," the order said.

"In addition to this, the use of drone, micro-light aircraft, glider/power-glider, hot-air balloon, kite-flying and Chinese micro light needs to be banned in district Rohtak from October 25 to 27," it said, adding that the violation of this order is punishable under the BNSS.

The Governor, Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh, is slated to participate in various programmes. He

will arrive in Rohtak on October 25, after which he will interact with parents of students and staff members at Government School in Kharawar village, and visit the local Civil Hospital and PGIMS.

On October 26, the Governor will visit Maharshi Dayanand University and interact with the faculty.

On October 27, he will visit Government Middle School, Nipun Vatika, and interact with parents of students, and faculty members.
