Hansi police crack double murder case in 24 hrs, nab five from Rajasthan

The police cracked within 24 hours a case of double murder that occurred in Hansi police district on August 4. All five accused were arrested from Rajasthan after a brief exchange of fire.
A Haryana Police spokesman today said when the police team surrounded the accused and asked them to surrender, they opened fire on team members. In the retaliatory fire, one accused was injured.
The police seized from them six illegal weapons and cartridges besides a looted vehicle. Those arrested include Monu (alias Romeo) of Adarsh Nagar, Hansi; Sachin of Ambedkar Colony, Hansi; Amarjeet of Bhatia Colony, Hansi; Rinku of Sainipura; and Gajju of Neemrana in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.
On August 4, the accused entered a house at Hansi and fired shots at two women besides looting a car, some jewellery and cash. On August 5, they went to a dairy and shot another person in the leg.
Hansi Superintendent of Police Nitika Gehlot constituted teams of the CIA and the cyber cell to crack the case. Working on the intelligence and other inputs, the police arrested the accused after a brief exchange of fire from Neemrana, Rajasthan.
