‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign to kick off across state today

“The Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign will be organised across the state from August 11 to 15,” said Haryana Chief Secretary TVSN Prasad while presiding over a meeting off all Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police via videoconferencing on Friday.

The Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign will be organised across the state from August 11 to 15. Each day of the “Tiranga Yatra” campaign will be anchored by a department. On August 11, the Women and Child Development and the Development and Panchayats Departments would lead the programme; on August 12, the Department of School Education and Technical Education Departments; on August 13, the Sports and Youth Affairs Department; and on August 14, the Police Department will be the anchor.

Each day of the “Tiranga Yatra” campaign will be anchored by a department. Ministers and other public representatives from the state government will also participate in the initiative.
Prasad said on August 11, the Women and Child Development and the Development and Panchayats Departments would lead the programme; on August 12, the Department of School Education and Technical Education Departments; on August 13, the Sports and Youth Affairs Department; and on August 14, the Police Department will be the anchor.
Apart from this, volunteers of the NCC, NSS and other religious institutions will participate.
On August 15, programmes will be organised at ‘Amrit Sarovars’, where the National Flag will be hoisted and saplings planted and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to the nation broadcast, the Chief Secretary added.
He also stated that the ‘’Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’’ campaign will be launched in the mission mode. As part of the initiative, 51 lakh saplings would be planted on August 16.
The Chief Secretary praised the efforts of the Deputy Commissioners and various departments resolving public grievances during the ‘Samadhan Shivir’, which had been well-received by the public. Of the 71,363 grievances received, 55,046 had already been resolved. Similarly, 90 per cent of the 38,217 issues related to Parivar Pehchan Patra had been addressed, leading to 34,576 resolutions. He said around 2,000 to 3,000 people met CM Nayab Singh Saini daily to present their grievances.
Prasad directed the Deputy Commissioners to promptly resolve district-related complaints also.
