Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi today conducted a review meeting with Deputy Commissioners via video conferencing regarding the preparations for the national event on Jal Shakti Abhiyan – Catch the Rain, scheduled to be held on March 22 at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula. He issued necessary instructions to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.

The Chief Secretary informed that the sixth edition of Jal Shakti Abhiyan – Catch the Rain — will be launched from Panchkula on March 22. Union Minister for Jal Shakti CR Paatil and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will be the chief guests at the event.

He directed Deputy Commissioners to encourage the participation of progressive farmers, women and individuals who have made significant contributions to water conservation. The event aims to promote water conservation and raise awareness about sustainable water management practices.
