The Haryana government has closed all colleges and universities in the state till March 31 as a precautionary measure for coronavirus.

This was stated in a press release by the Higher Education department.

All government and private schools in Sonepat, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Faridabad and Gurugram districts, in the neighbourhood of Delhi, will remain closed till March 31. However, the exams in these schools will be held as per schedule.

The schools in other districts of the state will function as usual.

This was stated in a separate press release.
