Haryana Assembly Deputy Speaker Dr Krishan Middha on Monday accused the Punjab Government of instigating farmers. He claimed that leaders from Punjab are deliberately provoking farmers, while emphasising that the BJP government is farmer-friendly. Dr Middha attended a kisan mela and exhibition held at Taj Place in Madhosinghana village of Sirsa as the chief guest. During the event, Dr Midhda met the farmers present there and also spoke to the media.

Farmers are being misled by Punjab’s leadership. They should engage in a dialogue with the government as every issue can be resolved through peaceful discussions.

-- Dr Krishan Middha, Haryana Deputy Speaker

During an interaction with mediapersons, Dr Middha said: “Farmers are being misled by Punjab’s leadership. They should engage in dialogue with the government as every issue can be resolved through peaceful discussions.”

He also alleged that some farmer unions received funding from Canada, which is now facing internal unrest. Dr Middha further accused certain groups of attempting to promote Khalistan under the guise of farmer protests.

He criticised former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda for calling Manohar Lal Khattar an “accidental CM” and advised him to choose his words carefully. “Hooda is a senior leader, but he should control his language,” he added. He also lauded former CM Manohar Lal Khattar and CM Nayab Singh Saini for their honest efforts in improving the state.

Dr. Middha said the BJP has formed the government in Haryana for the third consecutive term due to transparency and efficient governance.

Taking a jab at the Congress, Dr Midha said: “Blaming EVMs after losing elections has become the Congress’ old habit. The party is now left with nothing to offer and is in a pitiable state.” Comparing the Congress’ current condition to the phrase “Naach na jaane aangan tedha,” Midha suggested that the party is blaming external factors for its own failures.
