The Haryana Government has finally sent the Manisha murder case of Bhiwani for CBI investigation.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini had announced a CBI investigation into the case on August 20, following the demand from the family.

However, the CBI is yet to register the case.

Manisha, a playschool teacher, went missing from her house in Loharu on August 11. The next day, the police registered a missing complaint in this case. On August 13, her body was found near Singhani canal.

Following the demand from her family, three post-mortem examinations were conducted — first in Bhiwani, then at the PGI, Rohtak, and the third at AIIMS, Delhi.

She was finally cremated on August 21.
