After the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) awarded Kurukshetra University (KU) A grade with a score of 3.56, Governor and its Chancellor Bandaru Dattatraya said by achieving the grade, the university has added another milestone to its name.

It has become one of the top institutions in the country and the first government university in Haryana to be awarded the A grade by the NAAC.

When vice-chancellor Somnath Sachdeva and registrar Sanjeev Sharma paid a courtesy visit to the governor at Haryana Raj Bhavan in Chandigarh today, he congratulated them. Dattatraya said KU performed well in the assessment based on academic, research, cultural, sports, and various other achievements.
