Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today announced that the state government would launch an initiative to enhance health facilities for soldiers, ex-servicemen and their families. It includes establishing health facilities similar to the Army Polyclinics. He said this while chairing a meeting with officials of the Health Department here today. Health Minister Dr Kamal Gupta was also present during the meeting.

The objective of this initiative is to ensure that the military personnel and their dependents can have access to the services near their homes. The CM said more Army hospitals and polyclinics should be set up at various places to meet the demands and needs of the soldiers.
