Haryana IPS officer's death: Video of liquor contractor who lodged FIR levelling bribery charges surfaces

In the video, the contractor, with his face covered by a cloth, can be seen detailing his complaint that led to the registration of a case against one Sushil at Urban Estate Police Station on October 6. He has also recorded a detailed statement in a local Rohtak court, raising serious allegations of corruption, extortion and threats to life and business.
The contractor claimed that he had been receiving threat calls from various individuals demanding money. He also accused Sushil of exerting pressure on him for bribes using the name of Kumar.
As per the FIR, Sushil, while demanding bribe from the contractor in June and July, had claimed that he was close to Kumar who served as the IGP, Rohtak range.
The Urban Estate Police had on Monday arrested Sushil, in connection with the case.
Kumar, who was posted as IGP at Police Training Centre (PTC) in Sunaria village here, fatally shot himself at his residence in Chandigarh on Tuesday.
