Haryana Olympics: State-level boxing events from Nov 3 to 7 in Rohtak

Boxing competitions under the state-level event will be held in Rohtak from November 3 to 7. Rohtak Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta has directed the officials concerned to complete all preparations for the boxing competitions.
Gupta was presiding over a review meeting regarding the events on Tuesday. During the meeting, he held detailed discussions with the association’s vice-president, Major Satyapal Sindhu, and other officials concerned.
He said the boxing competitions for both boys and girls would be held in Rohtak at the NBA Boxing Hall of the Rajiv Gandhi Sports Stadium here.
As many as 320 players are expected to participate in this event, he added, instructing Sports Department and Sports Authority of India officials to ensure proper accommodation, transportation, security and food arrangements for the players, so that they face no inconvenience.
He directed municipal corporation Joint Commissioner Manjeet Kumar to prepare tenders through the Sports Department for the cleanliness and maintenance of Rajiv Gandhi Sports Stadium.
