Under a new system put in place by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, mutation can now be automatically generated on the same day after the registration of the deed of sale, mortgage with possession, gift exchange and family transfer. According to a notification issued by Sanjeev Kaushal, Financial Commissioner Revenue (FCR), the new system would be operational in those revenue estates where the HARIS/HALRIS/Web-HALRIS systems had already been implemented.

“The mutation shall be displayed on the HALRIS portal and if any party has any objection to the sanctioning of the mutation, it can file an objection ,” the notification said.— TNS
