The Department of Mathematics and Statistics of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (HAU) has been granted four copyrights on the development of online modules for the analysis of statistical data by the copyright authority of India.

Beneficial for scientists

Vice-Chancellor Prof BR Kamboj today disclosed that the modules would play an important role in breeding programmes by demonstrating the practical application of constitutional research. Congratulating the scientists on this achievement, the VC said the online modules designed for statistical data would promote innovation, contribute significantly to global research and enable researchers to tackle future challenges. “The online module created for the analysis of statistical data can be used to analyse research data across the world, which will prove to be beneficial for scientists and researchers,” said Prof Kamboj.

Dr Neeraj Kumar, Dean, College of Basic Sciences and Humanities, said the online modules had been developed by Dr OP Sheoran and Dr Vinay Kumar Ahlawat from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. He said these modules would make an important contribution in the field of analysis of research data.

Dr OP Sheoran, Head, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, said these modules were based on client-server architecture, which was developed by using Active Server Pages and Python.
