Health official booked by Yamunanagar police dies

A senior health official, who was recently booked by the Yamunanagar police on the charges of sexual harassment, stalking and the SC/ST Act, died here today.

He was posted in Yamunanagar, and was booked on the complaint of a woman doctor posted in the district hospital there.

As per information, the health official was staying in Jhansa area of Kurukshetra and he reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest. He was brought dead at the LNJP district Civil Hospital in Kurukshetra.

Kurukshetra Civil Surgeon Dr Sukhbir Singh said prima facie cardiac arrest is suspected to be the cause of death. The exact cause of death will be cleared after the post-mortem examination.
