Dr Kuldeep Gauri, Director, Health Services, Haryana, made a surprise visit to the District Civil Hospital, and inspected all OPD and ward facilities on Saturday. Civil Surgeon Dr Mahendra Kumar Bhadu, along with Deputy Civil Surgeons Dr Vipul Gupta, Dr Rajesh Chaudhary, Dr Shami Jindal and Dr Prateek, as well as Senior Medical Officer Dr RK Dahiya and Nodal Officer Dr Amandeep, accompanied him during the inspection.

During his visit, Dr Gauri reviewed the dialysis centre and the ICU, and spoke to patients about the free services being provided by the government. He emphasised the need for special provisions to senior citizens, instructing that a separate section for medications be set up for them within the hospital. Additionally, he announced that a health camp would be held on the third Friday of every month, specifically for seniors in Sirsa district.

The Director also urged health officers across all blocks to increase awareness obout oral health and dental care within communities. This initiative aims at enhancing preventive care and reducing dental issues, especially in rural areas.
