• To provide affordable housing, a new department ‘Housing for all’ will be created to cover all the existing schemes of housing and 1 lakh houses will be provided by 2022.
Development and Panchayat
• In the next financial year, emphasis on ODF Plus will be continued.
• Budget of Department of Panchayati Raj has been increased by 27 per cent.
• Every Zila Parishad will be provided an annual grant-in-aid of Rs 20 crores.
• Villages with population of more than 10,000 will be provided LED streetlight in the next financial year and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) will be established in 150 villages.
Mining and Geology
• In the next financial year, to prevent illegal mining, surveillance will be done through drone technology and E-Rawana bill be made mandatory.
Environment and climate change
• 5250 eco-clubs are being constructed in the state with an outlay of Rs. 12.64 Crores
Tourism
• Under Swadeshi Darshan Yojana, the Krishna circuit in Kurukshetra is being developed as a tourist hub with an outlay of Rs. 59.93 Crores
Excise and Taxation
• The State GST collection has registered growth of 30.15% in July – December 2019 as compared to the values of the same quarter of the last financial year (2018-19). During the same period, All India figures of GST collection has registered a growth of 4.28%.
• After the implementation of GST in the State, number of people filing returns has increased 2.5 times i.e. from Rs. 1.92 lakh to 4.51 lakh.
Urban Local Bodies
• A new scheme “Mera Sehar, Sarvottam Sehar” will be launched to provide modern public facilities in selected urban local bodies.
• A provision of Rs. 200 Crore has been made under Mangal Sheher Yojana to provide support to financially weak urban local bodies
SC-BC Welfare
• In the next financial year, students of scheduled caste and backward class will be provided financial support of Rs. 1 lakh or 75 per cent of the tuition fees whichever is less for the purpose of coaching by reputed institutes.
• Migrated Kashmiri families will be provided Rs. 1250 per month per person in the next financial year.
Direct Benefit Transfer
• With the implementation of direct benefit transfer scheme, government has given Rs 7160.08 Crore. By plugging the leakages, Government has saved Rs. 1182.18 Crores has been able to root out corruption by reaching the beneficiaries directly.
• The State Government has launched a new scheme Mukhya Mantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana (MMPSY) with the objective to provide social and financial security in terms of life / accident / crop insurance cover, pensionary benefits etc. to families with annual income of Rs. 1.80 lakh per annum and with a land holding less than 5 Acre and having a Pariwar Pehchaan Patra eligible individual family of the State. Rs. 6000 per annum will be provided in the form of life insurance.
Revenue and Disaster Management
• Cloud based integrated property registration and land records management
system is being implemented which will be completed in all 91 tehsils and
Sub-Tehsils by June 2020.
PWD (Building and Roads)
• Under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana–2, 1000 Km roads will be
upgraded during the year 2020-21.
• To provide better rail connectivity in the State, a joint venture company
Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation (HRIDC) with an
outlay of Rs. 5600 Crore has been established to complete Haryana Orbital
Rail Corridor Project connecting Palwal to Sonepat via Sohna – Manesar –
Kharkhoda. 150 Km long Jind – Hansi new railway line and 61 km Karnal
Yamuna-Nagar railway line will be executed in the next financial year.
Public Health Engineering
• Under Jal Jeevan Mission Scheme, Government will provide drinking water
connection to all the household by 2022. Total outlay of Rs. 1926.45 Crore
has been made for implementing the scheme in the year 2020-21.
Irrigation and Water Resources
• To bring the water of Ravi- Beas river to Haryana and for the construction of
(SYL) Satluj-Yamuna link canal, an amount of Rs. 100 Crore will be spent in
the next financial year.
• For the purpose of providing drinking water in Mewat Region, Mewat Feeder
Canal parallel to KMP expressway through pipeline shall be constructed to
transport water from Gurugram water supply channel with expenditure of
Rs. 200 Crore.
New and Renewable Energy
• Government plans to install 50,000 off-grid solar water pumps with 75%
grant from the State.
Civil Aviation
• Bhiwani, Narnaul, Karnal, Pinjore and Hisar airstrips will be upgraded with
Rs 173 Crore in the year 2020-21.
