Chandigarh, September 28

The Haryana Government has decided to stop all fresh recruitment/engagement under Part-l and Part-Il of the outsourcing policy with immediate effect.

An official spokesperson said an order in this regard had been issued from the Chief Secretary to all administrative secretaries, heads of departments, divisional commissioners, managing directors of boards and corporations, Registrar, Punjab and Haryana High Court and all deputy commissioners.

He said till now, in cases involving public interest, departments might engage Group C and D contractual employees against the vacant sanctioned posts with the approval of the Chief Secretary and the Finance Department. However, the state government has now reconsidered the matter and decided to stop all fresh recruitment under the outsourcing policy.
