Hisar bypass project to ease traffic, spur development: Minister

Haryana’s Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister, Ranbir Singh Gangwa, said the 41-kilometre bypass construction project for Hisar would ease the city’s rising traffic congestion and pave the way for its development as a metropolitan hub. He expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for approving the initiative.

The bypass would start from Hisar-Rajgarh Road (NH-52), cross Hisar-Delhi Road (NH-9), and extend to Hisar-Kaithal Road (NH-52). Built using modern technology, it would seamlessly connect different parts of the city, making regional traffic faster and safer. The project has been designed with future growth in mind, Gangwa said.

He added the bypass would provide significant relief from traffic jams, saving time and fuel for commuters.

Gangwa said the bypass would benefit not only Hisar but also surrounding areas by boosting industrial, commercial and agricultural activities.

“The construction of this bypass will smooth Hisar’s traffic flow and accelerate the city’s development,” he said. Residents and traders have welcomed the Chief Minister’s decision, noting that the project would promote economic and social growth in Hisar and ensure overall regional development.

The minister directed the concerned departments to complete all formalities promptly so that the project to make Hisar traffic-free can take shape at the earliest.
