Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar (GJUST) has introduced BA-LLB (honours) course from the current academic session. The Bar Council of India has accorded approval to the university to conduct the course.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Narsi Ram Bishnoi said the applications had already been invited for admission to the course and a large number of applications had also been received. The approval has been received for 60 seats of BA-LLB (honours) course. He said the course was very prestigious and employment-oriented. There was a tremendous trend among students opting for the course, he said.

Students pursing the course from a reputed university will get additional benefits. Students living in Hisar and nearby areas will now no longer have to travel far to study law.
