The village panchayats of Rakhi Khas and Rakhi Rakhi Shahpur villages have adopted a resolution that no outsider would be let inside the village during the nationwide lockdown. The sarpanch of Rakhi Shahpur village in a letter urged the residentsnot to invite relatives and friends to the village.

“If there is any urgent reason, the family must inform the sarpanch and chowkidar of the village. The people must stay indoors. The common ‘baithaks’ will remain closed till further directions,” sarpanch Rajesh Singh stated.

The sarpanch of adjoining Rakhi Khas village Sandeep Malik too has issued similar directions. — TNS
