The newly constructed Astroturf hockey stadium here is becoming increasingly popular among the players of the district. Hockey players from all walks of life are flocking to the facility, much-loved for its top-notch amenities.

The passion for hockey takes over the stadium as the players’ sticks clash and shoes tread the turf during the morning and evening sessions.

Inaugurated by former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on January 24 this year, the facility was built under the Smart City project on the Kailash-Kunjpura road. Built at a cost of Rs 18.27 crore, the stadium spans 6.45 acres. The stadium features a blue Astroturf dedicated to competitive matches, and a green Astroturf for practice sessions.
