Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini celebrated Holi in Ladwa on Thursday, emphasising that the festival fosters national unity and strengthens the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’.

“Holi is a festival of joy and togetherness, celebrated across the country with enthusiasm. In Haryana, people from all communities come together to celebrate, reinforcing our shared cultural heritage,” he said while addressing a gathering.

Highlighting the scientific, historic and social significance of Indian festivals, he urged people to use natural colours and conserve water while celebrating Holi. “Sanitation and awareness are our shared responsibilities. May all social evils be burned away in the flames of Holika Dahan,” he added.

The CM was accompanied by his wife Suman Saini, former Minister of State Subhash Sudha, BJP District president Sushil Rana and other party leaders.

Speaking to the media, CM Saini hailed BJP’s sweeping victory in the civic body elections, calling it a testament to public support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India. “People have given a clear mandate to BJP candidates. Now, with a ‘triple-engine government,’ Haryana’s development will accelerate further,” he asserted.
