An advanced Colour Doppler Ultrasound machine worth approximately Rs 1 crore has been installed at Civil Hospital, Panchkula, Health Minister Arti Singh Rao has said.

The minister said the installation of this modern machine would enable patients in Panchkula district to access more high-quality diagnostic facilities. She said the new machine would play a vital role in the timely diagnosis of pregnant women, cardiac patients and those suffering from other serious illnesses.

The state government aims to equip all civil hospitals with modern equipment and specialist doctors so that people could avail all essential healthcare services within their own districts, she added.

She said in the coming months, modern medical equipment would be made available in all hospitals across Haryana so that every citizen could receive safe and accessible healthcare services at their nearest health centre.
