The Haryana Vidhan Sabha unanimously passed a resolution hailing the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya here today, even as it mentioned that PM Modi had pledged to create an India which upheld the values of ‘Ram rajya’.

The CM moved the resolution after question hour on the second day of the Budget session. This found support not only from the BJP, but also its alliance partner, the JJP, and the Congress.

In his resolution, he said, “Today every Indian is feeling happy and proud with the re-establishment of the Ram Temple. Lord Ram is our idol and the source of energy of this huge nation.” — TNS

544 bags of subsidised urea seized

Yamunanagar: The district police have seized 544 illegal bags of subsidised agriculture-grade urea, reportedly brought from Punjab. Sources said the urea was to be supplied to plywood factories of the district, where it was used to prepare glue. A case has been registered.
