HSGMC poll: Over 47K eligible to vote in Kurukshetra
Over 47,000 people are eligible to cast their votes from five wards of Kurukshetra in the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (HSGMC) elections on January 19.
As many as 21 candidates are in the fray from the five wards.
As per the data shared by the Kurukshetra district administration, there are 47,170 voters (22,300 male and 24,870 female voters) in the five wards.
While Ward 13 (Shahabad) has the maximum 10,571 voters, followed by Ward 14 (Ladwa) with 10,505 voters, Ward 15 (Thanesar) 9,655 voters, Ward 12 (Murtzapur) 8,855 voters, and Ward 11 (Pehowa) 7,584 voters.
A total of 56 booths have been set up.
