Ambala Cantonment and Saha Industrial Area employ thousands of workers. All insured employees and their dependents will get access to better healthcare facilities and timely care thanks to the upcoming hospital in Sector 33. Vij said he has been coordinating with the Union Government and other relevant departments to ensure the project moves forward smoothly.

The hospital will offer all modern medical services through specialised departments such as medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, ENT, ophthalmology, dermatology and psychiatry. The hospital will also provide 24×7 emergency and trauma care, modern ICU, advanced diagnostic facilities, as well as in-patient, out-patient and day-care services.

“The people of Ambala Cantonment shouldn’t face hardships due to a lack of medical facilities. No worker should wander helplessly in search of treatment. This hospital will bring relief to the working class and general public,” the minister said.
