Karnal: Dr Dharampal, director of the regional centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Karnal, said the university had extended the admission date to February 15 for the January-2024 academic session. Earlier, the last date was January 31. Admissions in various courses offered by IGNOU takes place twice a year – in January for the January session and in July for the July session.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
