IIT officials lead innovation outreach event

They met Vice-Chancellor Shree Prakash Singh and discussed collaborative efforts aimed at nurturing early-stage innovators and enhancing entrepreneurship opportunities in the region.
The session, coordinated with the support of Professor Dinesh Singh, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, innovators, research scholars and faculty members.
During the visit, Pandey conducted an engaging session. He introduced the attendees to the fundamentals of the startup ecosystem, the evolving deep-tech landscape in India and the pathways available to translate research into commercially viable ventures.
The AIC IIT-Delhi team also briefed participants about upcoming national-level opportunities, including the BHARAT safety programme, along with various funding, incubation and mentorship initiatives designed to help innovators scale their ideas into high-impact startups.
He highlighted the crucial role of universities in fostering innovation-driven entrepreneurship and supporting young minds to contribute to India’s technological progress. The outreach programme was further supported by Dr Himanshu Agrawal and Krushna from AIC IIT-Delhi, who briefed attendees on various initiatives, processes and resources offered by the institute to guide innovators from idea to implementation.
