In a major crackdown against illegal colonies, the district authorities following the directives of Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya carried out a demolition drive in Bamnoli and Kanonda village under Bahaudrgarh subdivision in the district on Monday.

During the operation, illegal construction spread across approximately 10 acres was brought down in five unauthorised colonies.

“During the action, the department demolished seven large permanent structures, six shops, 12 boundary walls, 32 DPCs, mud roads, concrete block roads and various site demarcations. The drive was conducted under the supervision of District Town Planner Manish Dahiya,” said the district spokesperson.

DC Pradeep Dahiya has made it clear that strict action will continue in future against colonies being developed without approval and in violation of the prescribed licensing procedures.
