Illegal fish market removed in Yamunanagar

On the instructions of Municipal Commissioner Mahabir Parsad, the action was taken by a team of the MCYJ headed by Chief Sanitation Inspector (CSI) Anil Nain.
According to information, some residents of the area had complained about the fish market to the MCYJ.
Nain warned the fish sellers that if they set up stalls at this place in future to sell fish, their goods would be confiscated.
He said an illegal fish market had been operating for some time near Adarsh Nagar (Jain Colony) in the camp area of Yamunanagar.
He further said they instructed the fish vendors to remove their stalls on their own. He said that a team led by him completely cleared the illegal fish market.
“If the fish market is set up again, major action will be taken along with confiscation of goods,” said CSI Anil Nain.
He said that the fish vendors were repeatedly warned not to set up their stalls here, however, they continued to do so.
