According to information, some residents of the area had complained about the fish market to the MCYJ.

He said an illegal fish market had been operating for some time near Adarsh Nagar (Jain Colony) in the camp area of Yamunanagar.

“If the fish market is set up again, major action will be taken along with confiscation of goods,” said CSI Anil Nain.

He said that the fish vendors were repeatedly warned not to set up their stalls here, however, they continued to do so.
