Two persons were arrested in connection with the illegal operation and subsequently handed over to the police. An FIR has been lodged at the Sector 29 police station. Furthermore, the team sealed both the hospital and clinic and confiscated medicines found on the premises.

DSP Inderjeet Yadav of the CM flying squad said they received information regarding SD Hospital in Ambedkar Colony and a clinic named Mukhtar Health Centre and Mother-Child Centre in Chakkarpur village operating without legal authorisation or permission. Four individuals, posing as doctors despite lacking MBBS degrees, were found treating patients and administering allopathic medications and injections.

Following this tip-off, the joint team conducted raids at both locations. At SD Hospital, a person claiming to be a doctor, identified as Manoj Kumar, was discovered without any medical credentials or registration for the hospital. Despite lacking formal qualifications, he was found treating patients, with three beds available in two rooms for patient care. The team confiscated a significant quantity of allopathic medications and injections from the premises, along with a stamp bearing the name of Dr Aditya Kumar, BHMS Uttarakhand.

The Mukhtar Health Centre and Mother-Child Centre was operated by Mohammad Masoom and Mohammad Hasim, both residents of Purnia district in Bihar. They had been masquerading as doctors and treating patients at these facilities for an extended period. Following the raids, both Manoj and Masoom were arrested.

Upon the complaint filed by Dr Gaurav Gupta, medical officer of the health department, two separate FIRs were registered.
