Taking strict action against violators, the Haryana State Enforcement Bureau has seized 22 vehicles allegedly involved in illegal mining and transportation of mining mineral in the district in the past 15 days.

Aman Kumar, an Inspector of the mining department, said, “The vehicles have been seized under sub-rule numbers 102 and 104 of the State Mining Rules, 2012, read with Section 21 (4) of MMDR Act and NGT orders dated April 23, 2019, and February 19, 2020.”

The vehicles, along with the mineral, were in the custody of the Haryana State Enforcement Bureau and would not be released until further orders of the mining department.
