Haryana Chief Secretary Keshni Anand Arora directed the heads of departments to ensure 100 per cent implementation of Business Reform Action Plan (BRAP) by the end of September so as to improve the ease of doing business (EODB) ranking.

Arora was presiding over a review meeting regarding the progress of implementation of BRAP here today. Saket Kumar, Director of Industries and Commerce Department, gave a presentation related to the state and district business reform action plan.

The Chief Secretary directed the officers of all departments concerned to work in coordination so as to ensure implementation of business reforms and make sure all services were rendered online within the stipulated time.

She said to prevent businessmen from making rounds at the government offices time and again for issuance of no objection certificates to start a business, a status tracking system and document upload system should be formulated. She directed the administrative secretaries to review the progress of BRAP.

She was apprised that 213 reform points were to be implemented at the district level and 301 reform points at the state level under BRAP by the Centre and the state was working on it so as to augment the facilities being provided to businessmen.
