According to the complainant, a group of 15 to 20 people, including a relative and supporters of Rathore, allegedly assaulted him and tried to snatch documents pertaining to the filing as covering candidate, when he was going inside the office of the SDM at Ballabgarh around 2.45 pm on Thursday. It is alleged that all this was done in presence of the former MLA who was present nearby. He alleged supporters of Rathore wanted to stop his sister, who was already there, and him from filing the nomination papers from the seat as it was the last day.

Rathore has described the FIR as part of cheap politics by her opponents. She has claimed that all the allegations against her in the complaint were false and were aimed at misleading the people. Rathore is contesting as an Independent candidate.
