The Bhiwani police have launched a special search operation at suspected places in an attempt to combat drug trafficking and abuse in the district. The police launched extensive search operation with the active participation of all SHOs and police post incharges. The district police also took the help of the commando unit and a dog squad during the operation.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
