Kurukshetra: The court of Kurukshetra Additional District and Sessions Judge has sentenced two men to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for looting a Bhiwani resident at gunpoint. The court held Amirtpal, a resident of Chammu Kalan, and Prince Behal, a resident of Ismailabad of Kurukshetra guilty and slapped a fine of Rs 27,000 each on them. On September 22, 2021, Himanshu, a resident of Bhiwani, gave a statement at the Pehowa Sadar police station that Amritpal and Prince offered him a lift in their car to Pehowa. As they reached near Murtazpur village, one of them pointed a gun at him, while the car driver pointed a knife. They snatched his bag, mobile and Rs 7,700 cash from Himanshu and managed to flee.
