Gurugram police have arrested two vehicle lifters, Narender Maurya alias Akash from Amethi and Surjeet from Surya Vihar, Delhi, who recently stole a car from Ashok Vihar Phase 3. The suspects were caught by the Sector 39 crime unit at IFFCO Chowk. A car used in the theft has been recovered, and the police are questioning the accused.

Road Rage: 2 get life imprisonment

Gurugram: The court of Additional Sessions Judge Sunil Kumar Diwan on Thursday sentenced two men to life imprisonment in connection with the murder of a businessman during a road rage incident on the Dwarka Expressway in 2020. The businessman, a Creta car occupant, was beaten severely after being accused of hitting a scooter and died the following day at Fortis Hospital. The accused, Rohit alias Monu and Rohit alias Jhabbar, were arrested and have been sentenced to life imprisonment with a Rs 1 lakh fine.
