Chandigarh, May 1

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, while extending his best wishes and congratulating the workers of the country and state on International Labour Day, said the dedicated and hardworking workers had always played a significant role in the progress of the country.

“It is only because of them that economic activities and industrial development of the country and the world have achieved new heights,” said the Chief Minister.

The CM said despite the Covid crisis, industrial activity would not be stopped in the state so that the economy was not affected. Industries had been asked to call workers for work in two or three shifts while strictly following the protocol. The “work from home” concept had also been adopted by many offices, he added.
