On the foundation day of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), district president Jasbir Singh Jassa announced that every party worker has taken a pledge to bring the party back to power in Haryana in 2029. He said that under the leadership of national president Abhay Singh Chautala, INLD would form the government and truly develop the state.

Jassa launched the “Har Ghar Jhanda” (flag in every home) campaign. Party workers began placing INLD flags on homes, shops and offices in both villages and cities.

Earlier, Jassa paid tributes by offering garlands to the portraits of former Deputy PM Chaudhary Devi Lal and former Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala at the INLD district office on Tuesday. He recalled that INLD was founded on April 29, 1998, by Chaudhary Devi Lal, and later, Om Prakash Chautala worked for public welfare and made the state prosperous when INLD was in power.

However, according to Jassa, in the past two decades under Congress and BJP rule, Haryana suffered from politics of discrimination and was pushed towards decline.
