A two-day international conference on “Reimagining business: innovate, include and thrive” organised by the Department of Commerce, Kurukshetra University (KU), started here on Wednesday.

While presiding over the inaugural session, Prof Som Nath Sachdeva, Vice-Chancellor, KU, emphasised on the importance of global interconnectedness, ethical governance and innovation as the driving forces for survival and growth in today’s world.

Indian Printed Circuit Association president Rajneesh Garg emphasised that refining and renovating markets was essential for progress, asserting that innovation stems from a culture of curiosity and courage.

Keynote speaker Prof Manjit Singh highlighted the need and importance of reverse globalisation, drawing attention to concepts such as Swadeshi, Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Swavlamban. Prof Sanjay Kaushik, Vice-Chancellor, Gurugram University, who was the chief guest on the occasion, said innovation must be generated and nurtured. — TNS
