The inspection, aimed at ensuring that all school buses adhere to the provisions of the Surakshit School Vahan Policy, will involve officials inspecting buses at private schools of the area. Directions in this regard were issued by Nangal Choudhary SDM Manoj Kumar while chairing a meeting with officials regarding the policy at his office on Tuesday.

The meeting focused on the implementation of the policy at the sub-division level.

The SDM asked the members of the Surakshit School Vahan Policy Committee to conduct a thorough inspection of all private schools within the Nangal Choudhary subdivision over the next 15 days. They are to check the records of all vehicles used to transport children to and from school.

He said a detailed report, in line with the 20 criteria outlined in the Surakshit School Vahan Policy, should be compiled and submitted daily to his office.

Furthermore, the SDM instructed Nangal Choudhary Block Education Officer Sunita Yadav to create a plan and draft a schedule to assess all schools within the next 15 days, ensuring that the list of drivers working on private school buses is reviewed. Any new vehicles introduced for the transportation of students must be promptly reported to the District Education Officer and the committee, he added.

He said if any school failed to meet the criteria set out in the Surakshit School Vahan Policy, each department concerned would take necessary action as per their departmental rules and ensure compliance.
